Campbell & Kennedy to launch Switch It Off campaign

Campbell & Kennedy (C&K) are launching a Switch It Off campaign as part of their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint and as part of the company’s ISO 14001 management system objective.

C&K will have posters and stickers on appliances and light switches around the office reminding staff to switch off all lights and electrical equipment, such as computers, when not in use.

There will also be reminders in the company’s internal bulletin and a slideshow video giving advice on how to save electricity, which will run in C&K’s reception area.

The campaign is being run in line with C&K’s commitment to become ISO 14001 certified. ISO 14001 is a worldwide recognised environmental management standard which provides organisations with the tools to measure and improve their environmental impact in areas such as waste management, energy consumption and use of natural resources.
