Sky is set to get even better with the launch of a brand new sports channel called Sky Sports Mix, coming to viewers this summer.

The new channel will bring great moments from the world’s biggest sporting events to customers across the UK and Ireland.

Customers who have the sports bundle deal will have the channel included at no extra cost.

Sky Sports Mix will be available to the same number of Sky TV homes as Sky Sports News HQ, which has an annual reach of 17 million viewers.

The new sports channel also brings you women’s sports and will feature live coverage of women’s golf, cricket and netball.

Customers will now be able to watch a mix of live sport including football, golf, International cricket and much more as part of their basic subscription packages.

The launch of Sky Sports Mix helps further cement Sky Sports’ position as the first choice for sport across a range of channels and products.

Viewers can look forward to regular live football from competitions including La Liga, MLS, FIFA World Cup 2018 qualifiers, as well as a select number of Premier League and Football League matches.

Sky Sports Managing Director, Barney Francis, said: “We are giving millions more people access to great moments from some of the world’s biggest sporting events at no extra cost.

“It is a fantastic way for all Sky customers to be able to enjoy some of the great content that has made Sky Sports the first choice for sport. Our aim is to offer sport in a way that can engage, encourage and excite everyone even further.”

The Sky Sports Mix channel line-up will include documentaries, sports entertainment shows, other sporting and kids’ content such as the live Saturday morning show, Game Changers.
