The team here at Campbell & Kennedy are excited about the first Sky+ software update of 2016, which makes it easier than ever to watch your favourite shows on Sky Box Sets.

The software update signals Sky’s ongoing commitment to make the UK’s biggest connected TV platform, Sky+, even better for customers.

To make the most of the brand new features, make sure your compatible Sky+HD box is connected to your home broadband network.

The brand new features being introduced include:

  • A new download all button which allows you to line up a whole box set to watch. You can now move the full series to your planner, with the first two episodes downloading automatically.
  • A new “Watch Next” button has been added which allows you to see an on screen prompt to watch the next episode if you have downloaded the whole series. You can now continue watching your favourite boxsets by pressing the green button which will play the next episode immediately.
  • Movies in the recently launched “Watchlist” are now ordered by the date they expire from Sky Movies ensuring you never miss a movie again.
  • More suggestions are presented when you select “Top Picks” with eight suggestions of shows and movies based on what’s in your Planner.

Further updates to the Sky+HD box are set to follow.

The changes come as Sky+ customers will get exclusive access to all the new boxsets including the full series of The Tunnel: Sabotage and Billions the highly anticipated SHOWTIME drama.
